I'm currently living in an apartment with one single lady in her fifties. Our apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a toilet room, and a bathroom. I haven't been in many apartments in Ukraine but from what I've seen it's about standard. One of the biggest differences with the actual layout/structure of homes in Ukraine vs America is the separate toilet room and bathroom. In the toilet room is just that, a toilet. In the bathroom is the shower/tub, a sink and sometimes a washing machine. It's very common to have the same faucet used for the tub and sink. I also have yet to see a home that has more than one toilet/bathroom. Another thing I have noticed about homes in Ukraine is the love of house plants. There are plants in every room in our apartment and when I was living with a different family during training there were plants in every room in their home as well. Though, as in America, homes vary a lot, sometimes based on the income level, sometimes based on location in the country. Enjoy this "tour" through my home!
